Nine out of ten buyers open with "how much is this truck?" I get it completely — behind you stands a boss, a cost target and the responsibility if the machine goes down. But after years of doing specifications, I'll say it plainly: price is precisely the thing you should not ask first. In 2026, whether a truck is worth it is hidden in what jobs it runs, how many hours a day, and who fixes it when it breaks. Electrification is not a trend to follow; it is the result of that maths working out.

Let's lay out the big picture first. None of this is us blowing our own horn — these are public 2026 estimates from several third-party institutions. Use them as a reference; the macro view only helps you judge direction, it doesn't make the call for you:
None of this is us talking — it is industry consensus. But for your one truck, the numbers don't matter; what matters is the three accounts below.
This is the account most often miscalculated, and the most worth doing first. Third-party estimates for a 5-tonne class machine: a lithium-electric five-year total cost of ownership (TCO) is about USD 44.5k, diesel about USD 72.5k; in high-cycle scenarios the purchase-price gap is recovered in 18–24 months, and per-hour electricity cost is about a quarter of diesel. That intimidating purchase price, spread over five years, is often actually the smaller end.
But there is a big precondition: single truck, single shift, indoors, high enough utilisation. If a truck runs only a few hours a day, the electric purchase premium never pays back — which is exactly where most people miscalculate.
One honest line: don't force electric just to be "green", and don't buy diesel with your eyes closed just to be "cheap". Run your own hours and site first; the numbers will speak for themselves.
The biggest regret buyers have is almost always the same line: bought the truck cheap, then waited weeks for parts and had no one to repair it. Ask three things — average response time? local parts stock? who actually owns after-sales? A slightly dearer truck with a local network often costs less over five years than a "cheap" one.
Our side of the bargain: regular models ship from stock, single units can be customised (OEM / ODM), and we reply across time zones 24/7. You don't have to gamble.
When a customer sits across from you, what they ask is never "what trucks do you have", but "do you understand my operation". Walk them through the three accounts above and the unease lifts; the order naturally steadies. We've prepared verifiable factory photos, loading & shipping and certificates — certificates are shown as masked thumbnails, with numbers and scope confirmed by our team, so you can produce evidence on the spot and aren't afraid of someone using them to comparison-shop: see customer cases, or start from the electric counterbalance forklift for real specifications.
| Your operation | Recommended power |
|---|---|
| Indoor warehouse, 1–2 shifts, high hours | Electric (lithium + opportunity charging, best TCO) |
| Food / pharma / cold store (below −20°C) | Electric (heated pack + IP67 sealing) |
| Chemical / paint / fuel depot hazardous zone | ATEX / IECEx certified ex-proof electric (standard electric not allowed) |
| Outdoor yard, unpaved, 3 t+ all day | Diesel (fast refill, no torque fade) |
| Labour shortage, repetitive moves, night shifts | AGV / unmanned (planned to your layout) |
Send us load weight, lift height, aisle width and operating environment. Our engineers will calculate TCO and spec for your operation.
To be straight with you: our factory is relatively young. We don't have "decades-old famous brand" capital to trade on, and we won't flatter you with that kind of talk. So we're even more afraid of ruining our name — a truck leaves our gate carrying your site, your workers and your delivery deadlines behind it. You're willing to tell us your operation, and we'll work the numbers until you can take them back to your boss. Where you're unsure, we'll work it out together. That's the only way to walk a long road together.
